Professional Development Sessions 2015

Our sessions are focused on building the capacity of main streets through the development and ‘skilling up’ of business associations and Councils to improve operation, management, marketing and governance frameworks.

Supporting main street businesses at the heart of our communities

Proudly presented with the support of the Department of State Development Business and Innovation – Streetlife Program

Mainstreet Australia principles are highly compatible with the objectives of the Streetlife program, particularly the strengthening of business associations. Mainstreet Australia can deliver a range of targeted training, workshops and information to increase the skills and capacity of businesses, business associations and Councils which can lead to a range of economic, environmental and social benefits for the main street.

Our professional development program is built around the underlying premise that effective business associations who engage with their members and proactively work in partnership with key stakeholders, particularly local government, to improve the performance of their main street are fundamental to the successful main streets and business communities.
