24 September 2020 – Grants for Business Chambers and Trader Groups

The Victorian Government recently announced a $3 billion package to help businesses impacted by ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions to survive and prepare for COVID Normal.

The Business Resilience Package, the $3 million Grants for Business Chambers and Trader Groups program, is open for applications from today. This program will ensure that business chambers and trader groups like yours can continue to support local businesses and help them recover and prepare for COVID Normal.

Eligible groups will receive grants of either $10,000, $20,000 or $50,000 depending on their size. If you would like to find out more and apply for a grant, please go to the program’s page on the Business Victoria website.

Local business chambers and trader groups like yours play a critical role in local communities, bringing businesses together and empowering them with advice, connections and resources.

The impacts of the pandemic on businesses across our state are unprecedented and the Victorian Government is committed to helping them get through to the other side.
